Our Story

Klidoscpe Educational Psychology Services Ltd was born from a deep belief that every mind holds a unique pattern of potential, much like a kaleidoscope. Founded by Dr. Keith Houghton, a fully qualified HCPC registered Educational Psychologist, our vision is to celebrate the individuality of every learner, helping them discover the beauty and strength within their own unique patterns. Just as no two people view a kaleidoscope the same way, we understand that each individual’s educational journey is distinct and different.

Driven by our values of learning, growth, inclusion, accessibility and social responsibility we work to empower individuals, schools, and settings by embracing the diversity of thought, potential, and experience. At Klidoscpe, we believe in opening up new perspectives, creating pathways for success, and fostering an environment where every unique mind can flourish.

Client Testimonials

Parent (Statutory Process)

Thank you. The SEND system can be so difficult to navigate, but Keith made me feel relaxed, he listened. It was the first time throughout this process that I felt a professional truly understood my child’s needs and our family situation. I can not thank you enough.

SENCO (Primary School)

We have been working with Keith for a number of years now and have a wonderful relationship. Keith has become an extended part of our school family and continuously goes above and beyond to fully understand our children’s needs, parents and school culture. We can not wait to work more closely this year.

Head of Support (International School)

Thank you for your amazing training, I loved every minute of it. It was clearly presented and has inspired me to start my own sessions at school. Having previously completed training, I thought I had a good understanding of how to carry it out, but your training excelled all expectations, and I would highly recommend it to everyone

Year 7 Young Person

I loved doing LEGO therapy with Keith! We got to build amazing things together, and I learned how work as a team and talk to other children without getting really anxious. Before, I really struggled with making friends, but now I know how to share ideas and listen to them. Keith’s sessions have been really fun, and I’ve made some new friends because of it. I can’t wait to do more

SENCO (Primary School)

Keith consistently applies psychology in a variety of ways to help our children and staff have a more well-rounded understanding of their needs. Through his creative ideas Keith has allowed us to work more collaboratively with our children, staff and parents, bringing a greater sense of belonging and community which is truly appreciated.

Year 4 Child

Keith made learning about my feelings so much fun! We played games and did some activities that helped me understand my feelings and emotions… like when I get angry or sad. I liked how he listened to me, and we got to draw about things I have found hard. I’ve learned so much and Keith has helped
